So Mike has just been tossing the frozen eggs in the coop still encased in the shells. I was NOT amused. Forget how many dozen I picked up off the floor. I do NOT need the hens associating whole eggs in their shells as something good to eat.

that's because the de-icing fluid doesn't work when it gets that cold.
