No poop boards, no deep liter, just soil. They are big enough that their waste gets degraded pretty fast by the weather.
Goldens and Amherst are the easiest for beginners. They are not like chickens, their diets are way different, higher protien...a gamebird ration. Also, pheasants should not be raised anywhere near to chickens, diseases that chickens can handle will kill a pheasant in a quick chilly minute.Fascinating!
