Granny's gone and done it again

Many years ago Ma had a patient that was a child. A child with no discipline. That child had a trach in order to breath. The child would jerk it out to get attention. One day while in the back seat going down the road that child jerked it out and no one noticed in time....
Did she see it in time to get the child to breathe again?

I would have wanted to be a home health care worker but my own health deteriorated and I wouldn't have wanted to do any heavy lifting. I applied and was approved except the heavy lifting made me back out.
Ma goes to pain management now from doing the heaving lifting as in turning patients that weigh upwards and even over 300lbs.

No sugar needed with Splenda...
My cookies come from the grocery store. They are not made with Splenda, sadly.

Ma worked for years in the home heathcare field.
I did free-lance live-in home health care of a sort for several years. Mostly housekeeping, actually. Medicaid did pay me at one job. At others, I just got paid cash. It wasn't much but it kept a roof over my head and at least one job it was a very fine roof indeed.

I'm sure most of the gardeners on here know what a butternut squash is.... Imagine having a guy coming into the ER to have one removed... It was surgically removed... Darwin did him no favors... He did survive but the other guy that came in about the same time from sniffing Dursban didn't. When asked why he was sniffing Dursban he said "I wanted to get High..." That was his last high.

Health care always held my interest. Especially how diet relates to different health condition. I learned allot from the dietician when I worked at the hospital. I'm glad the Drs keep me informed about DH condition. In the 20 years I've known DH, I've cared more for DH and unimaginable health conditions then anyone could imagine.
