Granny's gone and done it again

Pert, I guess Ive seen those before/ I just didn't know the name of them. When I lived w/ my GM she had a cast iron stove for heat. It would burn wood or coal. I believe she always used coal. I remember mom backing up to it and catching her housecoat on fire. We would make coffee or hot chocolate on it.

My grandmother had a huge furnace in a basement area where her husband would shovel coal into it throughout the day. I guess she had vents for upstairs. Man, were we breathing in coal fumes?

The coal dust was the killer. My GF died from black lung after working in the mines. I just don't know about fumes

There were different kinds. I remember a lot of these also.
