Granny's gone and done it again

How are you holding up Farms? Any new reports on you
We are awaiting his surgeons appointment Wednesday morning. He will explain what is going on and what the treatment plan is. They gave only one choice of appointment time because it was their first available and we can't push it off. The abscess is growing again and he isn't on antibiotics. He's anorexic so the Dr wants me to let him know if he's not eating right or loses any more weight. Yesterday I did the farmers market alone, I would close it but then they will tell me I have to move out this month and I really don't have the energy. We've missed enough days that I'm afraid of I don't go they will kick us out and then I have to move out this month. I came home early and someone watched it for me the last couple hours.
While I wasnt home...DH went to McDonald's and ate fries and a milkshake. 😟 He wanted to go to the ER because he felt so sick. I got him to drink hot tea and used a heating pad on his tummy, wrapped him with warm blankets to get that food to move through his system. We got through the night.
He has an MRCP ordered for his pancreas. The Dr said he will continue having bad days till he gets rid of the abscess.

I can't go with him to his appointment:he
I have my appointment the same day and can't cancel it. The state appointment. The GI said I should join then through a phone. I can travel to my appointment while he travels to his. Join them with phone and then have my appointment. Just trying not to think about it. Makes my anxiety rise to a red hot 100

:hugs :hitIm so sorry you both are going thru this. Can they drain the abscess? What is MRCP?

?
What is MRCP? Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) is a special type of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exam that produces detailed images of the hepatobiliary and pancreatic systems, including the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas and pancreatic duct.

They did try to drain it when he was in the hospital. It only drained a little and it's back to it's original size. They thought it may be his intestines are feeding it (Crohn's). The MRI this week showed it's not that. But it still has to come out. The surgeon and GI are teaming up to decide the next step. Every time they introduce a tube, there's a chance of infection (immuno compromised). It may be remnants from fistula collection removed 2 years ago.
Yes, an MRCP is a kind of MRI. He didn't have stones in the pancreas but he did have a kind of cyst that sometimes become cancerous. They did test the contents of the sac of fluid but I can't remember what they found. It usually helps then know where it's coming from. He was on antibiotics so long that cultures don't want to grow.
