Hi everyone. Went into surgery about ten o. Back in my room by two home by four after stop by pharmacy for drugs. Everyone was fantastic. Doc repaired two tears and an inflamed tendon from the injuries. Ground off two bone spurs. No pain thanks to the cadaver arm that they swapped out with my defective one. ah the wonder of modern drugs and a circulating ice thingy machine that they sent home strapped to my new dead to the world cadaver arm.

Thanks everyone for the prayers. I feel tired and have a very sore throat but took a pain pill and slept for a couple of years. Typing on my Kindle with two fingers so will close. DH is my hero. Treating me like a queen. I'm so blessed to have him in my life.

That's the fancy ice thing I was talking about. And the blick that makes you feel like you have no arm. Comes in handy for a while.

You can put ice in it..or bottles of frozen water. If you buy the cheap bottles and freeze them, they last longer than chipped ice.
I think I still have mine around here some where.
Blue, yes, use it on your knee!

Yep that is similar to mine only larger. Last night was miserable. The pain med wasn't working,laxatives weren't working, shoulder was killing me, sling was uncomfortable. I started slinging pillows around the living room and finally got comfortable just letting the sling support my arm. Went back to tramadol with a Tylenol chaser and the pain eased off. Got comfortable in n
My rocking chair and dozed off....and then the laxatives kicked in. Forget the jackhammer Blue I needed a mop and shovel. I lost track of how many trips R2 Ice Cube and I made to the bathroom. got to sleep about one after a wrestling match with my sling that I won.

This is more or less what the sling looks like only it isn't showing the strap that goes around your waist.

Yeppers. My guy is the best. I am truly blessed.
