With any injury or insult to the body (you know this, Nurse!), the pain and swelling increase such that the 4th and 5th days are about the worst. Hopefully things will start to get better soon. I really hope so. And if not you can kick me and say I lied.

Are there 3 retired nurses in this group? You are correct about the 4th and 5th days being the worse. By then the swelling should have peaked and be going down, but everyone is different.

It has been a long day! Did a little housework this morning then went to do the monthly shopping. Hit Walmart, Aldi's, the bread store and Publix. Got my walking in for the day! Got home in time to do the evening chicken chores and Pa got to play with the new chicks. We had some wind damage to the weed barrier that we put down last week so I tried to get it back to the point we can nail it down again. I didn't come in the house until almost dark. Thank goodness for leftovers in the fridge! Hope everyone gets a good nights rest tonight.
