Granny's gone and done it again

Plus he has been giving a position of power by sleeping/protecting you
Brew sleeps on my bed almost every night and he’s the least aggressive dog I’ve ever met LOL

BUT!!!!

That said, Blues dog could definitely be protecting her or something else. Resource guarding maybe? Or just senses there’s two injured people in the house now.

Now I do but I used to have chickens, quail, fish, budgies, and a cat all with the dog. Although I may have gotten rid of the quail before getting the dog, I don’t remember, but I definitely had the other animals. I also had a leopard gecko and a corn snake very briefly. I only had the gecko a couple weeks and the snake a few days or less hah but yeah. He was fine with all of them.

Do you think he knows YOU are not well and it affects him?
Maybe. But he's always been kind of a jerk to this cat, it's just gotten worse. Actually, it's gotten worse since GC got the Aussie.

That's true too. I usually never let dogs up on the furniture. Especially one like him, he's always been dominant and high strung. He's never let me roll him over, for example.

Saw the surgeons PA today. Got the dressing removed and the sutures out. 6 punctures all together. His surgical nurse congratulated me for getting through the first week and that the worse was behind me. When I told them that the pain med didn't work they just chuckled and said that they never do,

Gee. Thanks for the news flash.

DH asked if 6 was the average number of punctures and they said no my tear was huge. Still some bruising and a bit of puffiness but looking at 5 more weeks in the pillow sling followed by PT.

But the good news is that my tattoo is intact. DH took a few pics for me. I'll have him upload one for me.

Stopped by the store, got home, helped take care of the birds. Didn't do too bad for a one armed chicken wrangler.
