Granny's gone and done it again

I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I'm my experience with dentists for DH, they are way more difficult to deal with them Drs. I think they also told me I have to pay out of pocket whenever they didn't want to do his teeth. Because they never gave me the option to fill out insurance papers. And I have won insurance claims in front of a judge. By not letting me have that option, they effectively got rid of us.
That has to be some kind of discrimination.

Yes Maam, They weren't as bad as stopping cold turkey but bad enough

Poor guy, Always something going on. There's Nothing else but surgery? Did the PPs help any? Blocking the nerves maybe? There has to be something..
PP's help a little but not when the pain is very bad and they make him unstable when walking. He has had injections in his back a few times, they help for a while but he can only have 2 per year. We will see what other options are when we see the specialist.

So sorry! My dad had back pain all his life. I don't think he ever went to a doctor about it, but he really suffered. Maybe that's why he drank, poor man. When your back hurts nothing else matters. I hope they can do something for Larry, and SOON.

His GI said if that ever happens again to let him know and he will help him. That oral surgeon also said you can't do extractions, it has to be root canal. We went to smilebuilderz and they said the teeth are too bad to do root canal and those teeth need to come out asap. They got him in that Monday for extraction and there were no problems. I'm pretty sure that oral surgeon gets enough patients that he can be selective

The visiting nurse had a hard time drawing his blood yesterday. His hand is swollen from a collapsed vein. He said if his 3rd try doesn't work, he wants him to get it drawn at the hospital. The 3rd time worked.
The results were back this morning. His heart rate was very high and his electrolytes were low. So he is dehydrated. His PCP called and said to try and get him to eat and drink more. I blame the morphine for making him so tired he doesn't eat and falls.
The PT said to call me at night if he needs to get up till Monday when they redo his labs.
You DO need salt to function right

Yes you need salt, but it needs to be balanced with other electrolytes. I found this explanation on a medical website.
Electrolyte imbalances can cause a variety of symptoms, which depend on the specific electrolyte and the severity of the imbalance. Common symptoms include headaches, nausea, fatigue, muscle cramps, and weakness. More severe symptoms may include an irregular heartbeat, confusion, seizures, and coma. For example, hyponatremia, or low sodium levels, can lead to neurological symptoms such as headaches, confusion, and nausea. Hypernatremia, or high sodium levels, may cause symptoms like fast breathing, restlessness, and trouble sleeping.

The bad salt is in all that processed food. If you are eating clean you need a mineral salt on your food

TOO MUCH salt is not good. While I was staying with my twin brother a few years back, he was on a completely salt-free diet. He started having some health issues, I don't remember what all, but weakness was one. I got him to put a little salt in his diet and he perked right up. No extremes! Moderation in all things. Well. In most things.
