Granny's gone and done it again

Too many side effects. That's why I said no to all. My sister has osteoporosis so bad, the dr. shook his head as he looked at her scan. He said she has it so bad that her back could just crumble. She heard this then heard of a friend's mother that just had that happen and was gone just over a week after she was bed ridden from her back bones crumbling. 😳
Spinal collapse, often in the form of compression fractures, can occur in individuals with osteoporosis. Osteoporosis, a condition characterized by weakened bones, makes vertebrae susceptible to fractures, potentially leading to spinal compression and collapse. These fractures can cause pain, loss of height, and postural changes.
I've already lost an inch. Late MIL was hunched over badly and had khytoplasty in two vertebrae.

That was me, Blue.

I was on it for 2 years anf the longer I was on it the worse the side effects got for me. For over a week after the injection I suffered from fatigue that just drained the energy from me. All I wanted to do was sleep. Towards the end the fatigue would hit me randomly. I also had some severe joint pain that would wake me up and have me in tears and skin infections. It also affected my immune system and gave me brain fog.

I did get better results on my next bone scan but the doctor wanted me to continue with it. I respectfully declined. It was just draining the life out of my quality of life. He didn't argue with me just asked me to do some sort of weight bearing exercises and continue my Citrical 1200 and vitamin D3. I asked him if carrying 2 20 pond jugs of water 300 feet up hill qualified as weight bearing and his jaw dropped and he made no more demands.

Blue read everything about Prolia that you can find before you decide. Everyone is different but the side effects are more common than not.

It’s Vit K2 that pushes the calcium into the bones. Have you tried that with your Vit d
