I think these are less vintage then mine but this is $25. I haven't found any exactly like mine yet

Afternoon all. Hit the floor running this morning, or stumbling really. Today is my DH's birthday so wanted to bake him a cake. I have a great one layer cake that I found in an Amish cookbook that turns out almost like a pound cake. Very moist and yummy especially when you use butter in the recipe.

Then discovered that we were low on bread so through the makings in the bread machine while working on the cake batter. All done with my left hand and all done before sitting down with a cup of hot mint tea.

Right now I'm ready to kick back for the rest of the afternoon.

Regarding the marble laying duck and hen.
I can remember as a kid having a brown plastic hen that when you pushed down on her she would squat and lay a little plastic egg. I thought it was the coolest thing.

lol, from ND up here rice is for deserts about 90% of the time.
