Granny's gone and done it again

We have made a discovery with our Legbar chicks that hatched a week before and also on Easter weekend. One after noon when Legs escaped his coop while we were filling feeders and water fountains he slipped out with his girls. Evidently he went on an escapade out behind the coops with the Legbar girls. Now we have some over sized chicks with long legs that are darker with rose combs.

Dr. called us to come in early. I think its GOOD news! He asked a lot of questions and he wants an US of Toms kidneys and more blood work and come back in 2 weeks. What he said was with Toms BP being low that the kidneys need blood to work right and with it running low it wasn't getting enough blood. Since I have cut 2 of his meds in half he would suspect that the #s are already better. He also said Tom looked too healthy to be that sick. He told Tom to go home and eat lots of good food. He repeated himself about 10xs and I finally spoke up and said " If he wants good food he is going to need to marry someone else!" He laughed so hard I thought his turban was going to come unwrapped.

PT just left. He had me use my walker and wants me to start using it. I can put some weight on right foot now. Thing is, I can carry things in my chair. Not so with the walker!
Blue look for a basket that you can attach to the top bar of your walker. I got my father one of those little walkers that had a basket attached to it along with a seat.

He loved that thing.

That type walker is called a rollator. My MIL had one and used it not only for support but to carry things. She would put her plate on the seat and things like her phone, a pen or a magazine in the basket.
