Granny's gone and done it again

Our mama Legbar hen has lost 5 of her 6 chicks. One found a way to get into another coop and the rooster killed it. The other 4 were found dead where they had slept under the hen. Last night when I did a bed check the one was missing and the mama hen was on the high roost. Finally I was able to see that little fluffy butt showing just enough under his mama's wing to know he is already sleeping on the high roost in the Legbar coop.
Hmm. Wonder what happened to the 4 dead ones... glad you have one left, though.

Overcast here today (smoke or clouds? Unsure). Storms moving in later. Must have been storms during the night: Sammy slept beside me, with his tail in my armpit, which I would not have minded - but he kept wiggling! - as if trying to get deeper into it! I don't know if we actually had storms or if he just sensed storms in the area. Either way, Mama's gonna need a nap at some pont today! Goofy dog. :lau

I have Vestibular Migraines. They aren't painful, but man, am I woozy/dizzy.
I had an aura 3 days ago. Starts out with a blind spot at things you're looking at. Then the silver and blue zig zag show starts. At least those are my colors. It lasted only about 20 minutes.
No fun.
Welcome to Grany's. :)
That sounds miserable, I’m sorry you are dealing with those. Do you take anything for them?

My symptoms are different from yours. Similar in nature but more brain stem type vertigo. I have to say it was hard to wrap my head around the fact you can have migraines without the actual painful headache. Hearing your experience helps me understand that more. Maybe I do have them sometimes. Thank you.

My regular neuro sent me to his colleague who specializes in migraines. She listened to my symptoms and saw an episode at the end of our appointment and said they are not migraine related. I’ve been telling my neuro for a year that something is off. In December he said migraine and/or trauma related after my second round of treatment for RMSF. I am still making a fuss that it is not what I am dealing with. I’m just thrilled to finally be seen and validated that they need to look further into everything. The question now is if they will.

Rocky Mountain spotted Fever is extremely rare in my area. I think they do not understand it. It’s easier to just diagnose and treat what they know instead of having to look further into something they don’t understand.
I only get blurry spots - due to an eye trauma back in 2012 - can do surgery - but a 50% chance of blindness as a result - and no one will perform the op. So why tell me it is possible if it is stupid to do it?
That is no fun to deal with, I’m sorry you are.
My niece has lasting effects from a serious eye injury. She could have had surgery but my sister opted not to. She has said now she wish she would have. I hate to see my niece dealing with all of it.
I don't do botox.
Thanks about my bowl. I was teaching class tonight, I love that studio!
I was nervous to add the Botox treatments but I am really glad I did.
Ceramics are so much fun! I wish we could find another place to take lessons.

Good morning, Grannylanders! Did anybody else get rain overnight? It comes and goes here. A little challenging doing PT just now with Sammy wanting to be right under my walker every step, lol. My therapist is a Filipino guy who often runs a food truck on Saturdays. Used to work at a Benihana's rstaurant. One day he will bring me some chicken adobo for tacos and trade me for a loaf of bread or eggs. Sounds yummy!
