Granny's gone and done it again

Hi all Just got finished with bath time. Takes quite awhile to dry off 2 fuzzy puppies. Tomorrow my family gets together including my puppies. My niece (downs syndrome/autistic) came the whole way from Kentucky with big plans to play puppy... And will likely sign happy birthday to them many times.
There will be several little great nieces there so I believe the puppies will have lots of fun. Betty crawls into the laps of little children. Her favorite!
Sign or sing? Who's birthday?

Good afternoon Granny Land. Have another broody girl. Her first time. This one is a pure Dark Cornish pullet that was hatched here on the farm. Only one we have now. She will be hatching a mix of White Giant, White Giant x Dark Cornish, White Giant x American Bresse. Ma Named her Maude after the TV Sitcom where Maude was one of the 3 Golden Girls. At least that is what I think she did. To hot to be outside for another 2 hours. Then we garden some while the kids are out for Recess.
Are you letting her sit in a mixed coop or will she get her own place?I remember my dark Cornish being a very friendly gal with a wide breast.

It's according to how fast you go through milk, but if you can't drink it all before it's out dated you probably know you can freeze milk until you need it.
Those 7 bottles last us the 2 weeks before a new delivery comes around and that's being generous with it.

7 quarts is just under 2 gallons right? Yeah, I could have that gone in a week or less LOL I go through one gallon in just a few days usually. Sometimes one day if I am drinking/using a lot of it that day. :lau

Robert and I made dinner together today. BBQ short ribs were done but we put them in the oven to cook a little longer. Mashed potatoes and green beans seasoned with bacon grease and salt. Tom refused to use his hands to eat. (he doesn't like to get them messy) So I cut the meat off the bones for him. Still wouldn't eat it. Then it was too tough. He ate the other stuff then I made him a PB&J.I finally got to my food and it was ice cold but I was too tired to get up and nuke it. So I started having bad gut pain. I guess my system decided I didn't get to eat after all. The kid who wont eat pork chowed down eating his and ours. LOL At least they weren't wasted.. I got Tom cleaned up and we are watching of all things, Jaws2.
