There usd to be some monster trout up in Tin Cup Lake, but it was a hike. Take bear spray, especially if the huckleberries are ripe. And the thimbleberries. Sigh. Huckleberries. Oh, and maybe plan a trip up around Flathead Lake to pick Lambert cherries. Yum. They freeze really well. Oh sorry, that's a drive for you, Tin Cup is over in the Skalkaho River area. Worth it though.

The south end of Flathead Lake is fourteen miles from where I live.

It was the possum innards that gave me pause. Kinda surprised we have not seen either of these ingredients on Chopped yet. Seems the judges will eat just about anything else. They even had pork uterus on there once. And haggis in a can. Alligator steak. Century eggs and balut eggs.

I think balut eggs should be classified as animal abuse.
