Granny's gone and done it again

Granny, how is Tom today?
He was quiet, subdued Didnt want to even have the tv on. Wanted to know when he could come home BUT he looked so much better. His levels are coming down. No Afib. It sounds like he has a lot of fluid in his cough. They said he was swollen so it will take time to run all that off him. I have no idea what their plans are to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Ummm. 6-mo checkup w my PCP. Have not done that much hobbling about on the walker before. I am BEAT. Feels like I traveled about a mile and a half. I am TARRRED, lol. Came home, took a nap. Allergies terrible. Dinner is leftovers though, so no worries there.
:hugsI hear you Blue. PT did me in. Felt like I was dragging myself to the car. I'm going to cook some hot dogs and toss some French fries in the air fryer and call it dinner.

Did stop by Tractor Supply to pick up some chicken feed and got to look at the birdies. They had a lot of different breeds from the ordinary which surprised me. And Nope, didn't buy any.

well alrighty then.

Praying for y'all 🙏
My DH and oldest son were in AFib. They both had the ablation done. DH hasn't had any episodes since. Verdict is still out on my son.
I've had 2 ablations. Didnt work. :( Doc said they didn't dare go in again. I feel my heart skipping and running often, almost every day.

Good afternoon Granny Land! I've had a productive morning harvesting vegetables from our garden. I will process it this afternoon while it's to hot to work outside.
Granny, how is Tom today?
lovesfarms, good luck with the MRI. Hope all turns out well.
hillbilly hen hope your son has a good outcome with his A-fib. and welcome to Granny Land. I have a granddaughter who lives in Grand Rapids.
I live about an hour north of Grand Rapids. We have to go there often for Dr appointments etc. My son doesn't say if his heart is acting up. That's why I say the verdict is still out. He did say that his last appointment went well. He had open heart surgery when he was almost 4 months old. He's almost 42 now.

Got my prescription for glasses done today. Should be done by the 26th. Not sure how many of you wear glasses, but the transition is not something I like. Nope. Although last time it only took about a week for me going back and forth with old and new.
Good luck. I wait until the next morning before wearing my new glasses. That usually helps me. My vision fluctuates so much that a lot of times I feel like I have on the wrong glasses.

I'm here! I'm here! Sorry, just walked in from seeing the Ortho surgeon and then PT which completely wears me out.

I'm a free woman but as I said, still on probation. Cripes. Asked him what my limits are as to what I can do and what I can't do. I can only lift 2 pounds with my right arm. Nothing strenuous or heavy lifting or in his words, take it easy. I may be able to ride my dirt bike this fall....maybe. Sigh.

The way the therapist explained it to me is that my shoulder is in danger of dislocating right now because of the way that the cartilage capsule that is surrounding the head of the humerus bone is reacting to the tendons being too tight and spasming....or something like that. I was laying there feeling like I was on the losing end of an MMA fight at the moment and enjoying an arm lock. Thus the reason behind the surgeon urging me to take it easy.

No driving yet either. whimper.....

But I did expect this so no big shocks. I have a lot of months ahead of me before I'm healed and keep reminding myself that I had a lot of repair work done on my shoulder to get it back into one piece again. I just have to be patient.

But I am out of the sling and can use my right hand and arm again....as long as I don't use it too much above my elbow. So okay I can deal with this. I see him again in 3 weeks.

Hot here but we just had a thunder storm roll through so temp dropped for the high 80s to the high 60s.
Take it easy and don't overdo it 🙏
