Not really slipping, just getting some common sense as to how much I can do until my shoulder gets back to normal, or near normal. There was one little Buff Orpington about 2-3 weeks old in the 'half price' tub that stood with it's little head cocked while I clucked my 'mother hen cluck' at it, just enthralled by whatever I was saying. DH asked me if I was going to buy it and I said nope.

Surprised even myself, LOL.

Granny I just read about Tom being in the hospital. I'm so sorry. A-fib they can do ablation as Cynthia pointed out, or control it with medication, usually beta blockers. In some cases they do cardio conversion where they tranquilize the patient and then use a defibrillator to shock the heart back into a normal rhythm.

Benign Prostate Hypoplasia or BPH, sometimes they can control it with medicine or they will leave a catheter in for a week or so till the swelling goes down and then remove the catheter. My dad had that done a couple of times. They can also do a laser procedure to burn away overgrown tissue or even remove the prostate completely. Hopefully they can get things going again with meds.

How are you holding up?

I just ate dinner using my right hand. Didn't have to take twice the time chasing food around my plate with my left hand. It was.....bliss.

Good luck. I wait until the next morning before wearing my new glasses. That usually helps me. My vision fluctuates so much that a lot of times I feel like I have on the wrong glasses.

That's the perfect way to do it! My husband is a retired eye doc and that is what we told patients to do if they were first get progressive lenses. Don't know why it works, it just does.

Mine fluctuate also. I think my trouble is caused by my allergies though. DH says I get a mucus film over my eyes and it makes my vision blurry. Try using liquid tears in your eyes and see if that helps. That is what I use and yep, it does help.

Gotta go finish up the birds. I gave them fresh water this morning before hitting the road but need to check their food and pick up any eggs before it storms again.

Thank you!. They must have had storms last evening. Two of the MRI units were knocked out. We had to wait about 3 hours for the appointment. We are both tired. Tomorrow morning he has another tooth to get extracted. I mowed the grass in the rain yesterday cause wasnt sure when id get it done. To many appointments

Thank you. Their MRI units were out of order except one. Something happened to the antenna on the roof. Appointment was 3 hours late. At least I didn't forget the appointment! We picked up the new pick up. Was so glad the salesmen spent allot of time reviewing the buttons and screen with DH. I will probably have to repeat it all over again

Not sure I know what ablation is. He has had that cardio conversion but he wasn't given anything. I watched them and have always wished I hadn't. They shocked him to stop his heart then pretty quickly shocked him again to bring him back and it worked. He went back into a normal sinus rhythm. He isn't in AFib now and his prostate isn't going to shrink. We were told many years ago it was cancer but it was so slow growing he shouldn't worry. They told me that had started him on a med. that would shrink it like it was something new. Its not, he has been on that drug for many years Tamsulosin.
