I think the paw/leg-licking can be self-soothing, like thumb-sucking. Sammy is hyper- vigilant... is that the word I want? Easily stimulated. One of us can walk out the back door, he can see us go, then we can turn around and come right back in, and even though he KNOWS it's us and not an intruder he goes nuts, barking his silly head off like we're somebody he's never seen before, breaking in to murder all the rest of us in cold blood. I mean, he goes ballistic and there's no stopping him. He won't bite, but he just won't shut up. I've about had it wih him.

home and safe. just plain worn out. Up at 5:30 am on tuesday, got back this morning about 6 am. Bed about 6;45 ish and Star got me up for the day about 9 am. Star likes to flirt with death or pain evidently. Little over 1000 miles and one dead/suicide doe latter. About $4800.00 damage to the truck, thankfully it was on the way home and the truck is still drive able.

I am out, you all have fun, sweet dreams, fuzzies and prayers. OH and healing thoughts.

Curly's calf is a little bull we think. Makes 8 bulls and 1 heifer so far.

I'm glad you didn't get hurt. Did you have to call someone or was it a drive by? I hope you get solid sleep tonight, Sweet dreams ol man..

Bandit barks more than any dog Ive ever known. Even in his sleep!

At least Sammy won't bark when he's on leash. I tie him now at night. He's on a 15-foot long line even though he sleeps with me. He can reach the water bucket and go pretty much anywhere he wants in the room, but he's quiet through the night now.

I made 2 frozen dinners tonight and didn't eat either one of them. The first one was too hot! spicy chicken and noodles the second was just gross. The dogs got that one. Should I go for 3rds? I'm trying to make a grocery list for Robert tomorrow. I am struggling worse than ever with it.
