Granny's gone and done it again

Valacyclovir is used to treat herpes virus infections, including herpes labialis (also known as cold sores), herpes zoster (also known as shingles), and herpes simplex (also known as genital herpes) in adults. It is also used to treat chickenpox and cold sores in children
Wonderful. Dr. thinks I have a cold sore. I've never had one in my life and the spot she is referring to is the middle of my lower lip. There is a red/darker skin area from a scar Ive had 40 years. no sore/open wound there. She doesn't believe me I guess.

Thank you! Don't you worry about your lost 5 lbs. I found it. LOL I actually don't know what my a1c is. I have forgotten. It was low though. How are you? How is Larry? As you can tell, I don't like/refuse to eat cottage cheese
Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I went to bed shortly after this post. We have been gone all day; had to take the new weed whacker back to Home Depot to have the Ryobi sales rep show Pa how to change the heads. Come to find out the attachment we had wasn't designed for that model. We bought a smaller one that the special attachment does fit. I'm doing fine as long as I don't get to hot. Definitely need the oxygen when I'm outside in the heat. Pa is still having some issues with his back but I think he feels a little better. How are you? Taking your meds?

Ha not likely. Granny won't drink water. My dr said for cranberry juice to do any good it has to be the pure cranberry juice, not mixed with other juices and sugar free, which tastes HORRENDOUS and you have to drink about a quart a day BEFORE you get a UTI to keep from getting one. Or you can take the capsules but you still have to drink water. 64 oz., a gallon a day. Four 16-oz water bottles, which I do, easily.
We get Walmart brand cranberry juice sugar free and it's not bad but takes getting used to. I also drink a lot of water every day. Frequent urination also helps to prevent UTI. Empty bladder doesn't grow bad bacteria.
