Granny's gone and done it again

Guess I don't know what real ones are then?
Liquid IV is one you can buy at Walmart. BUT since he has renal failure maybe they are contraindicated. Ask his dr or nurse if he can have them.

When I am weak and foggy headed I can drink a serving and I usually feel much better.

Ok thank you! He does take a potassium tablet daily. And it was a little on the high side.

He needs a big cup that you can fill up in the AM and monitor his daily intake like the hospital would. At least eyeball it. In elderly people their appetite and thirst goes away.
He has a big cup he uses. 2 for pop and water. He isn't drinking as much pop either.

Soda (pop) is a diuretic isn’t it? Or at least dehydrating. He needs water. And I agree on the electrolytes. I like Liquid IV and Drip Drop. They’re kind of expensive but very good. Also the Walmart brand ones may be okay. I’ve never tried them myself.
is it? I know coffee is
