Granny's gone and done it again

I started a thread asking about my white chick's gender and the general consensus is that it is .... a cockerel!
:th I was starting to think those hackle feathers were getting awfully long and pointy, lol!
I was just telling my hubby that I'm surprised that we, so far, didn't get any cockerels with the bunch of chicks we got from the farm store. We did get one from the two chicks that a friend hatched for us. Apparently he had a hard time hatching. He's low on the pecking order and just started to crow, if you can call it that. Sounds like a broken squeaky toy. He's got a droopy wing too. I keep hoping that one of the other chicks will be a cockerel. I really wanted a couple of roosters.

Sorry, I went to bed early, so that I could toss and turn till midnight lol. I'm getting ready to take a little trip to Georgia. I have to leave my house at 2:30 tomorrow morning :th
I took that ride on a greyhound. From Mi. to Macon. Took 24 hrs. straight thru One bus change and a woman was having a miscarriage so driver made a detour to the hospital.
I also made that that trip by car. I don't remember a lot of details but car was broke and my dad could only go 35mph and the car jerked bad. Cops made us leave the freeway and we got lost. We were close to cinncy and his brother came and got us. We made it to Detroit and I learned I had lost my baby. I was 4 months along. I didn't even know I was pregnant.

Oh wow, Granny, how sad!

Wish we lived closer, I'd meet you half way and give you my two!
