Granny's gone and done it again

Here is an immature Red Tail Hawk. There’s a nest about fifty feet up in the trees.

Speaking of pics. DH pointed out, this morning, that I needed to add the chicks I'd kept inside overnight to the broody hens, or I'd have integration issues later. So we took them outside to do that, and found Hen #2, who we'd left in the hen house on the nest, on the ground outside covering her chicks. So the first thing we did was put her and her chicks in the brooder, where chaos immediatly erupted. All the chicks began running around like shoppers at a Black Friday sale, with both hens clucking and fluffing like crazy. "Add the extra chicks!" DH said, "The mamas will never notice!" So we did, and he was right. Witch Hen just wanted to sit on as many chicks as possible while Gentle Mom started showing the babies how to peck and scratch, occasionally tossing one to the side in her efforts. Thank goodness they are made out of Nerf and bounce, lol. That's Witch Hen in the back, Gentle Mom in front.

Awesome!!!!!!!

Morning all. 90 degrees here today. Just got back from working on a tree we dropped. Funny, picking up a piece of firewood, saying, nope, too heavy and dropping it for a smaller one. At this rate we will have it hauled back to the barn by December, LOL.

@Granny Hatchet, hope all goes well at the drs appointments. I just set here and said crap, tomorrow is Thursday and that means I have PT again. I was thinking today was Tuesday. Guess I'd better haul myself up and get my exercises done. :hit

I think it's amazing you're already up to lifting 50 and 20-lb weights! I can't recall this part of my shoulder rehab, tbh, it's been too long ago. But it sounds like you are making amazing progress and I'm really happy for you! :highfive:
