Another early morning tomorrow. Have to leave at 5 am to get to Atlanta. It's been nice to see family and friends. But it'll be nice to get home.

Atlanta is my least favorite city in the southeast! Hate the traffic, the way the roads are set up and the airport. Even the bypass is a traffic nightmare. I75 has been under construction since 1964! I'm glad you had a good visit.

I don't like the big city either. Give me my woods anytime.

That means getting up somewhere between 3 and 4? YIKES! You'd have to load me onto an appliance dolly and roll me to the car like a refrigerator.

Yep, getting up at 4. I grew up here... Columbus GA. But met my hubby and then moved to MI. I don't think I could handle the heat here for very long anymore.

I also hated Atlanta roads/traffic. 75 had 6 lanes coming and 6 going and you better know which lane you needed to be in.

My daughter, her husband and toddler are visiting some of his family in Mi. right now. They drove up from Texas. They rented a lake house on the east arm of the Grand Traverse bay just a few miles north of Elk Rapids. Sure is a lot of bodies of water in that region.
