Granny's gone and done it again

Breaking news. It is over. This what they got.

When adding in the 5% increase the city agreed to last year to extend DC33’s contract by one year, the increase for the union over Parker’s four-year term will total more than 14%. Workers will also get a $1,500 signing bonus. The increase is still well below the 32% total pay increase the union was fighting for.

They probably knew they wouldn't get 32%. But if they'd asked for 14% they would have been lucky to get 7.
Edit, I meant 14 but put 24 by accident.

In all fairness Ive been trying to catch up for 12 mins. Then computer froze up
Ha, a likely story! 😆

ok Iris said 64 and then right under that was a 54. Confused my over heated/sleep deprived mind
Another likely story 🙄

That’s sounds nice. Do you still have pictures? I can’t imagine getting married at 16.
I was married at 18, about two years out of high school IIRC .. and stayed married for 25 years.

Mother and two daughters.

PT this morning. Slowly making progress. I graduated to weight training for strength. Only 2 pounds but hey, that's better than no weight at all!

Then stopped by Buchheits for scratch grain, which was on sale, Yay! Nobody can say I'm not a lady of great restraint. Heard the peep peep peep from the chick area and wandered over. They had Cinnamon Queen chicks that were fully fledged. Actually told them I could take them home and toss them in the coop without heat lamps. There was also one little Black Maran all by herself that was completely feathered out. 4.99 apiece was all they were asking for them. Then they had 4 adorable black runner ducks. Not feathered out but older and about 10 French Guinea Keets. Did a quick mental tally of how much they would all cost, sighed and said, run away, run away......

Our 25 year old diabetic kitty, Johnny Cash isn't doing well. He had that spell about a week and a half ago that we thought was a hyperglycemic crisis that he popped out of but he's been going downhill since then, not wanting to eat, vomiting at times when he does, lethargic. He doesn't seem to be in distress or in pain thank God, but this is so hard to watch even though we knew it was going to happen sooner or later.
We just hoped it was later....we just hope his trip over the Rainbow Bridge is an easy one for him. He is very much loved.

OOOOOOOoooooo AC/DC! My favorite hard rock group. Favorite song, Thunderstruck.

DH thinks Night Prowler is a take off of Steppenwolf's The Pusher. They sound similar.

Gotta leave the conversation when it gets interesting, dang it! Have PT in the morning at 10 So I'll be on the road by 9:15.

DH is doing a happy dance as he is free at last, free at last thank God Almighty he's free at last from having to chauffer me around. Only 9 weeks. Bless him, I don't know what I would have done without his TLC and when needed, tough love to get me out of the doldrums and back on track since the surgery. He's my special angel.
Thunderstruck is one of my favorites too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I had the physical today which went well.

I like my doctor a lot. He’s great. LOL

In fact, when I went to the desk on the way out to book a couple appointments including the next physical, they asked me if I wanted to see his nurse practitioner (or maybe PA? IDK) or him and I said him. That’s how good he is LOL I didn’t say that last part but yeah. Plus I didn’t wanna see somebody I didn’t know. It takes me a while to get comfortable with new people LOL

I’m sure having people see somebody else on his team lightens the load for him so he’s not so busy which I do get and totally understand but I’d much rather see him LOL

Besides, they’ve never asked me that before and I’m not sure why.
