Granny's gone and done it again

View attachment 4173272The plastic piece that holds the tubes popped off. Got caught in his pants. I tried to snap it back on and guess it wasn't meant to be. I called the nurse and she instructed me to change it. I did everything right except I couldn't put both tubes in the clip. I finally gave up and locked the main one in. and wha-la,it slides.ya. not supposed to do that.
The things you are learning!

I'm trying to sell extra things on eBay. Maybe DH will have some hotel stays in the near future. I've tackled the insurance companies and I can get gas discounts. But haven't found a way to get hotel stays lower then $50 a night unless I use the same hotel and get points. I have one more option and that is too call the hotel direct...
What about an air bnb or someone had a room to rent

I’m sure $50 a night really adds up if you have to stay a lot so hopefully you can get it down BUT! Here I am wishing our hotels were anywhere near $50 a night… 🤣😭🙈 they’re like $200 in Boston. Some are closer to $400 and just a couple are closer to $100 but most are around $200. Even the local hotels are also $200 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔
Here too. And the dumps are at least 100

I can get cheaper hotels. I wouldn't want an Airbnb that he has to share a bathroom or kitchen or doesn't have a private outside door to his room. I think the air BNB has become a way for people too earn extra money and it's not what it used to be. Or at least in our area.

It depends on the location. Hershey Park is close to the hospital so it's real high. But if I go closer to Harrisburg, like 8 miles from the hospital I can get them cheaper. Harrisburg isn't very safe but I wouldn't get one in the middle of Harrisburg. If it's in more out of the way place then it's cheaper. Like a Quality Inn. I think if they know you have a hospital stay they give a discount
Check with the hospital. Sometimes they have contracts with hotels for discounts on patient stays.

Got vents installed in my brooder:
There are two more on the other side and also two more on the back (right). The doors are on the left. Still need to silicone caulk around the vents to make them weather proof. Will do that later today, hopefully. It really makes a bright difference inside and greatly improves the air flow and ventilation.
