Granny's gone and done it again

They must have started a nest somewhere else because they were buzzing around the yard today but tonight when I sprayed it there was no activity. So they are coming from somewhere else. Betty refused to go outside. She got stung twice. I was going outside today and when Betty disappeared, I searched the whole house and called and called her. I finally found her hiding behind a box. I want to see less hornets before I let the dogs out. They are attracted to the white clover

We had a nest of wasps or something under the eave of our house a year or so ago. When the Orkin guy stepped out of his truck I pointed to the probem and he froze in his tracks and went pale. His eyes got real big and he said, "oh .... dear." Then I knew we had a SERIOUS problem! But he got it taken care of.

It's the size of a basketball in the middle of an azalea and bleeding heart bush. I have seen then In trees but not at ground level

I found it while we eating and the'sting'. My hand is still a little red and swollen. One string. Betty got a sting right under her eye and the next day she didn't eat, Play or bark

They are big and black. No yellow. No long legs or skinny bodies. Looks more like hornets

These are our paper wasps nests. I've taken down a few off of our brick home. I've taken down some a lot bigger.
Those white things are eggs. When smashed..blood. 🫩

It does look like a hornets nest to me. Mean litte bugs. They not only sting, they bite!
But..they not all black. Some paper wasps are. The wasps on our home have yellow.

Besides the yellow and black striped stinging insects, we also have red wasps. Sting like fire, I'm told.
