Magic word of the day
The patient will undergo a right femoral endarterectomy with iliac stenting, and has provided consent to proceed. Dr. Penmetsa from cardiology has been contacted to provide cardiology clearance for the procedure and also: Shaggy aorta syndrome (SAS), also known as "embolizing shaggy aorta," is a condition where the aorta, the main artery carrying blood from the heart, is affected by severe atherosclerosis (plaque buildup)

Happy to hear they are go on having a plan to help you, Granny. God knows you have suffered long enough from your leg pain. Keeping you in my prayers.

We have been waiting for one lab result that would say if they could do the surgery here or at MIZZOU. Thank God it came back in the green so we are waiting to hear from the surgeon again. Been here over 6 hours.
