WOW!! You were truly blessed. AmazingMorning all. DHs labs are normal and we are hoping for a discharge today! Amazing how fast the body can repair itself. We learned last night that his gall bladder had gangrene in it.It happened so fast. He had a grape sized gall stone that was blocking the bile duct when the gall bladder tried to empty like a ball valve.Dr said it had been there for a long time.
What a week this has been. I thank God He spared him and has been watching over him and me through this ordeal. Also so grateful for everyone's prayers.
@twisted-acres-farm your new herd members are gorgeous. Congrats on the safe trip.

no water added for curing one thing. Some places say country bacon but its more like ham

Wow, @microchick! I can't help but feel that if your DH had been cared for right away instead of being basically ignored for 3 days, he would not have gotten to that point. That's really scary. But SO glad everything turned out okay and he is recovering nicely! Feel like you guys dodged a bullet, glory to God!
