So how is Tom doing and how are you handling the prospect of surgery?
Not very good Im afraid. Tom either has UTI again, dementia getting worse or he had a small stroke. Physical motor skills seem to be ok so thinking I can rule out stroke. I am very nervous about having someone take care of him while Im gone.Having to put him in a home leaves Robert home alone. I was fine with the out patient stenting, 3 days not so much. Im already panicking over not smoking.

I think you know that UTI's can cause Dementia to worsen at the time. Scared me too when Scott would get one. It even has the stroke affect on some folks with no problem at all. Im thankful it doesn't affect Richard like that. He gets them often. Folks with Spina Bifida often do.

He had a good day today, but rested a lot. He overdid it yesterday trying to get the yard mowed. Our oldest daughter is here for a short visit so that has helped his outlook.

It's always nice to have the kids around.

I get them ALL THE TIME! No idea why. I do think my bladder has dropped. Not sure if that would cause them or not. Dr. told me not getting clean when you poop is a likely cause but Im telling you, that is not the case here. Im so clean I freaking squeak when I walk!

Tom and I are learning our own language. He talks nonsense words but they are always the same word. ex.. He wants to go "upstairs" means he wants to go to bed. Or he needs to "take the cooler" means he wants his Foley dumped... dementia or stroke??

This is incredible. From the Bismarck NWS:
Severe thunderstorms on July 20th, 2025 left this hail scar that began about 8-10 miles southwest of Belfield and extended east southeast to just south of the Dickinson Airport, then turned more southeast before ending around 15 miles north of Mott. The length of this hail scar was approximately 42 miles and was as wide as 2 miles at times.

Hi everyone! I just popped in here to see if any of you have heard fri Kelsey lately. (@ShrekDawg) I haven't seen her around and I'm a bit worried about her.

She disappears from time to time for a week to ten days or so. Takes a time out? I'm sure she's okay, she'll be back.
