Bronwyn's Grandpa just had his gall bladder out. I think I told you all..?
They took x-rays in the beginning. Saw the stone at the edge of the duct. He had so much infection that it was inflamed leaning up against his liver. I even gasped when she showed me the x-ray. They had to drain it first. Oh..this man is 81 years old. Still driving truck!!
They had to wait for it to drain off before doing surgery. Well the drain fell out. A bit early but they decided to do the surgery. He had been on antibiotics. He had a pretty good sized stone. They didn't let him go home the next day because his liver is now acting up..blood work showing problems. Now I'm asking her every day how he's doing. So far so good. Crazy. Such a healthy man then boom. His wife, Bronwyn's grandmother, has problems wirh depression. She has had for years. She was the one they always worried about.

Wow, @microchick amazing you got so much done! DH's appetite will return, you'll see. He is not hurting from the surgery? You guys dodged a bullet. Don't know if I reacted to the loss of your beautiful Johnny Cash cat, he was a beauty (did I get the name right?). The timing sucks, in the middle of everything you two have going on, I'm so sorry. I do love a black cat, so elegant and mysterious they are. I prepare my bread in my Kitchen Aid mixer. It does the mixing and kneading for me, I let it rise then shape it and pan it, let it rise again and bake it in the oven. So easy. So yummy!

Hmm..wondering if I could let my bread maker do that part your mixer does. I don't care for the look of the bread makers loaves.

Hmm..wondering if I could let my bread maker do that part your mixer does. I don't care for the look of the bread makers loaves.

I don't either, Cynthia! They come out square. I don't care for the texture either and mine is as noisy as a 1950's washing machine, lol! Try it and see!

I started with a medium potato cut into 1/8” slivers, a medium onion chopped, two 1/4” x 3” slices of puffball mushroom cut into cubes and half an apple slivered. The cheese is havarti with dill.
The oil was 2 tbsp of avocado oil and half a stick of butter.
Seasoning is half a teaspoon of salt, a sprinkling of white pepper and a sprinkling of taco seasoning.
Dessert is fresh cherries and half an apple.
Tea is a milk thistle blossom steeped for an hour.
