Hey if you make up those graphics for T-shirts, I'll sure take one! I depend on them for survival! My life has been a steady parade of one miracle after another.

Waved Bye Bye to the van as it rumbled down the road on the back of a big wrecker. Haven't heard anything yet but we aren't expecting to until either really late today or tomorrow. So I rescheduled my ortho again for tomorrow till next week.

DH is taking a well earned nap. I went out and cleaned the feed room. Only three or 4 months late in doing that in the spring per habit. Did a bit of weed eating around the edge of the drive and am now inside with my cold therapy pack strapped to my arm and taking it easy for a while before I head out to feed the pea brains. It stopped raining but the temp is now 80 and he humidity is 80 at the moment so I'm inside for the time being.

Good mornng, Grannyland! What's everybody up to today? This is supposed to be the last day of this wicked heat, thank God. Hopefully DH can get out tomorrow and start mowing on this jungle, lol!

We will have hot weather for at least another month. Today the temp fell from 94 to 77 in an hour and a half because of the thunderstorms. I went out early this morning and made sure all the coops had plenty of food and water so I don't have to go out again.

We lived in NW Missouri for 12 years. I remember 1 year the low for the month of July was 90 and the next January the high for the month was 0, the wind blows off the Great Plains constantly. I know how you feel!

I went out this morning with about a cup of leftover rice and the bibis were the first to run out and mob me for it!
Ooh! Speaking of which, it's time for afternoon snack, I'd better shake a leg and get out there or we may have a scene from The Birds!
