Granny's gone and done it again

My dwarf Korean lilac bush, would sure hate to see a giant one. That's Beth beside it.

We have "ditch lilies," Wilma always called them tiger lilies. I tried to tell her no, those are not tiger lilies. And the first things that come up every spring are daffodils: around here they are known as "Easter lilies." I could never convince anyone that those little yellow things are NOT Easter lilies, either. They just speak a different language here.

that's newer worked for either my aunt or myself. But the seeds that form at the joints of the leaves will grow.
Any chance of getting a couple dozen of those seeds? Pleeeeze??? Pretty, pretty, pretty please with ice cream on top?

didn't get to sit down until after 9 pm last night after opening the motel at 7 am. Got the sickle mower hooked up and started cutting the wormwood down and managed to break the pitman (hickory wood that goes from the fly wheel (drive shaft) to push the cutter/sickle back and forth. I kad a spare BUT it was for the old #8 and to short. So trip to town for a new one. They had 2 on hand and I took them both, so I have a spare and won't waste over 2 hours getting parts the next time it breaks.

I'll check and see if any are still on the stems or not tomorrow. They may have all dropped already.

Oh and we got hit with another heavy rain Monday night Tues morning. About 1 3/4 inches here in town.
