Morning all. Feels like we are living in a sauna right now. 81 degrees and 80% humidity. We have had storms off and on since yesterday. My giant sunflowers pulled themselves out of the ground it's so wet. Guess they are calling for more of the same through tomorrow night into Tuesday. It's been a VERY wet summer here. Usually it's so dry the ground is cracked by now.

Can you replant them? That sucks

yes ma'am! Im pretty happy with the leg. Foot is still numb but its nothing like it was. Some of the purple on my ankle turned back normal color too!

Well I didn't get to sleep till 2 and was awake at 7 but I feel pretty spiffy.

About the same here. Laid down at 2. Listened to music for 45 minutes to an hour then finally fell asleep around 2:45-3am. Woke up I think 7:30 or 8. Actually, 7:30 then I tried to go back to sleep but couldn’t and got back up after like half an hour LOL

Yes, and I lost 2 quarts after a surgery. Had to go back in surgery as I was going in and out of consciousness. No fun being given blood. You feel awful. Really awful. Your body is trying to accept it like an organ they say.

Can you replant them? That sucks

I wrestled them back upright and pressed the ground back down around them twice. Silly things are amazingly heavy for their size. Third try I found a piece of rope, anchored it to a nearby trellis and then tied them upright. One is leaning against the window but at least it is staying where it supposed to be.

I bought a package of sunflower seeds to plant this spring and these two were the only 'giants' that thrived. We've had so much rain the past two months that everything is waterlogged.

brewed! Instant is the kaka... I used to have some made in a tea bag. Those were handy at night when you didn't want to make a whole pot and they were good too!

Where would you run to if you could?

Howdys all, I made a post this morning about Robert finding a smoke laying on my chest that I had fell asleep with and I was reminded ever so gently about what the Dr. said about me losing my leg. I just wanted to say I haven't stopped trying to quit smoking It's just going slow for me. I have heard from numerous people today about my smoking. Some mad at me, some talked hateful. Things like "the only reason I came home early was to smoke or Maybe you should have a stroke like Tom did so you can forget you ever smoked. I have a lot of stress in my life. Comments like that hurt. They don't help. I didn't think I needed to make a post explaining myself to others yet here I am. I'm trying and that's all I can promise for now.
