When we come home, DH spends his time at the Good Will store nearby. It fills his mind with good thoughts as he looks for treasures that he thinks I could resell for a couple$$$. His last good find were antique wooden letter blocks that used to be used in a printing press. If he were at the guest house he would become a couch potato. There was nothing there to do and people with memory loss cannot easily pick up a new hobby. They did not have TV but he could have taken his computer along.

Does he have a type of Dementia, or is the memory loss from his treatments?

My DH wants to go back to work, I think he can only make so much before they subtract from it.

Yes. I have to report it. When I sell things, all my fees are subtracted
When eBay reports to the IRS they add my shipping, taxes,eBay fees, etc to the gross profit. It makes it look like my profit is huge. Shipping costs are really high and they just went up again

Does he have a type of Dementia, or is the memory loss from his treatments?

His treatments or disease itself makes everything worse. He has had so many Emergency visits that whenever he has an appointment with neurology it gets postponed. I have up trying to get him any other appointments for the time being. I get tired of rescheduling. The cancer institute often makes appointments for the following day rather then days in advance

It's 101 out there right now.
Found out today that July hit a record dry month. July hasn't been this dry since 1900.
We need rain.

It is hard to get off it. Then just when I think I'm healthy enough to take the first step away from it, then the Crohn's gets active again or DH gets sick again, the I sort of fall back into the rescue net again and I'm glad I still have help
