My therapist told me that driving will cause pain faster than anything because no matter what position I put my hand in on the steering wheel, my arm was going to eventually cramp up and cause pain.

That wasn't very reassuring.

Use other arm to drive?

Well yeah, for awhile but there are always times and instances that you need two good hands and arms on the steering wheel. So I was driving one way 154 miles but by the time I reached a little over half way, my right arm would start this low grade deep ache that would increase as my distance increased. Then each trip it got a little sooner kicking in and lasted longer afterwards. Got told that was normal and what most people reported driving long distances after rotator cuff repair.

Finally, I'm normal about something!
