Granny's gone and done it again

I wasn't allowed for 2 months. Had surgery the first of May, got the okay to drive in July. DH had his surgery the 24th. Like my PT therapist said, just because they gave you the okay to drive didn't mean they wanted you to drive THAT far....

Talk about being a comedian.

Morning folk. Beautiful August day here here that reminds me of the Neal Diamond song Brother Love's Traveling Show. The line that goes Hot August nights and the leaves hanging down and the grass on the ground smelling sweet.

I have picked up some bronchitis from somewhere. Either my allergies or too much hospital exposure and something finally got me.

So I'm taking it easy today. Anybody who believes that raise your right hand....anybody?
:frow :p:lol:

most hunter's want them removed up here. I have actually had 2 dogs rip/mangle their dew claws requiring emergency surgery. These are not fully bone attached to the "wrist" so it should be no problem when he is 6 months old or so.
The front ones are attached usually. Back ones aren’t.

BUT! I’m sure ripping them off is much more traumatic so probably best to cut them off in some situations. But I’m glad Brew has his.

N.P. is Nurse Practitioner usually listed as ARNP advanced registered nurse practitioner. P.A. is Physician's Assistant Almost the same thing just a little different testing for license depending which state you live in. The mor letters behind their name the more education they have.
and the more they can charge you.

Granny that is just freaking amazingly fantastic! Great job you guys.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about Cynthia and her little Bella. Still, sending up more prayers.🙏

I made a tough decision tonight to leave my coop doors open. All the doors open to the run and the run is hot wired high and low. The coop doesn't have a lot of windows in it, just two large and one small that I have covered with plexiglass. So most of the air circulation comes from the north facing door and the south facing window. When I went out to feed and water tonight it felt like a sauna in the coop. The temp right now is 75 but the humidity is 95%. All the hens were sitting on the roost bars with their wings out panting and a couple of the older roosters were even more uncomfortable so hopefully having more air circulating will help them.
