Native Americans make them by thand. They are called courting flutes. Naturally, native Americans court in modern ways but past history the flute was used by a man trying to impress a woman.

Now they are used in ceremonies, weddings, etc and are quite beautiful.

Also, Umm... What kind of coffee pot is that?
It’s a French Press type, you put your coffee grounds into it and pour hot water over it, let it brew for a minimum of seven minutes, pour and drink.
I like to brew it for fifteen minutes or more. Part of the idea is that you get the benefit of the oils in the coffee which affects the flavor. When the coffee gets run through a filter you get almost none of the oils.

So in a percolator, you get the oils. Maybe that's why I prefer percolator coffee over filtered.
