Granny's gone and done it again

Sorry you aren't feeling well today, Granny. Prayers sent for all those who are suffering bodily and emotionally. I can imagine how Cynthia is feeling right now. I'm sure when the pain decreases to a point that she can talk about Bella she will be back. Till then, 🙏

Last week, I think it was Wednesday, I ran into HyVee to pick up DH's new antibiotics. I always keep a good distance between me and anybody at the pharmacy. One cart length plus another 4-5 feet just to be safe. Anyway, there was a man ahead of me at the counter, and yeah, I had a good 6-8 feet between us....when I heard him coughing. Crap, I thought, here we go. But I was reassured that I had enough space between the two of us until Friday when I began to have a deep burning sore throat. Then Yesterday I woke up trying to cough up a lung. Hit borrowed inhalers from DH hard all day. Didn't feel the best but temp hasn't gone high and I haven't lost my sense of taste. Upper respiratory infections on me go into my bronchi and lungs really fast so I dug through the antibiotics we have horded, picked one and started taking it. Woke up this morning feeling a bit better. Cough not so bad, throat no longer sore. But I told my husband, that's it, I can't risk getting sick. I'm the one of the two of us that is marginally functional physically right now. He pointed that out that if I went down sick, we were sunk right now.

So no more in store shopping. Drive through pick up for prescriptions. I hate living like a hermit in order to be healthy but if that is what we have to do I'll do it. I didn't see the guy cover up when he coughed at least not from my angle but you have to count on yourself first to keep yourself healthy and that is what I have to do so I will.

One of the milk thistle buds that I was drying on my table went to seed.
