Awake again. Made scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast. GC is off to her first PT session. Her 2-week post-op is next Tuesday. She's hobbling around pretty good, sometimes even without crutches.

Good morning, Blue. You were up early. Today will be house cleaning day for me. Any fun plans for your day?

Morning, Iris. I'm always up early, getting DH out the door to work. But then I usually doze off during 2-hour news program after he leaves. About 9 a.m. I actually get up and get some breakfast and start my day. Never been an early riser. Probably has something to do with my habit of reading till midnight, lol.
As for plans ... a little light housekeeping and Sabbath preps. Cooking tomorrow's meal today so I get the day off tomorrow. Hmmm. What sounds good?

Glad GC is doing good Blue, Shoot the scrambled eggs sound good to me. I actually got 3 tomatoes yesterday on my way home. I like them diced in cheesy scrambled eggs. However, Robert is making soup today If I can dice the potatoes. He made a splint for my finger. Had to cut the wood too. He got to use his new Dremel . He is really good with wound care. No training at all and he just does it. I'm proud of him. He is also trying to drink coke 0 . I think I mentioned his a1c had come down. I don't remember now but it was 7.?

His dental appt. went ok yesterday I guess. 2 fillings and a new bite that he doesn't like. He said there is too much filling throwing his bite off.

I had 4 fillings recently and I've been back to the dentist 3 times for adjustments bc they threw my bite off too. I think he finally got it pretty close yesterday. Tell him to go back. There's no charge. My lower partials were so painful I couldn't wear them. Did you know if you can't close your teeth properly, you can't blow your nose? I can't.

Actually he is a little askhat He speaks very mean to me but even that is getting better since his sugar is lower. I think that's the reason, My mom was the same way .
