Taking it easy here this afternoon. Still feeling icky but maybe a tad better. Stuffy sinuses, scratchy throat, post nasal drip that keeps me coughing. Nothing seems to help so I'm staying in. Years ago my doctor told me I suffered from allergic bronchitis. Post nasal drip from allergies draining down into my lungs at night while I'm asleep.

Have a huge mother in law's tongue plant, aka snake plant that used to belong to my MIL. I rescued it from their Florida home before the place was sold along with another plant. They both need occasional repotting and it was the snake plants' turn. It's too big to drag outside so I laid down a tarp and dumped it over in the living room. Told DH nt to worry, floor needed a good sweeping anyway. An hour later it was split into two pots and every speck of dirt was swept up. So got two jobs done and I'm off to make dinner. Egg salad or tuna sandwiches with coleslaw and home made dressing. Ice cream for desert.

Much cooler here tonight and for the next few days. Lows in the low 50 high 40s and highs in the low to mid 70s. Love jeans and t-shirt weather.

Pictures of the plant? I have one as well bought a couple Christmases ago. It is still in the same pot because I read it grows better when its root bound.

Hope everyone had a good day. Youngest daughter was here and we got a lot of things done in the yard and coops. Pa is going to build another nest box tomorrow. He and I can get it put in the coop. Our pullets will be laying in another month or so.
MC, I have the same problem in the fall, sinus drainage to the point I feel like I will drown! Allergist said I have allergy induced asthma. Not fun at all!

Granny Smith with the caramel dip. I haven't made fried apples in forever. Mom always knew what kind to buy as I liked them chunky. Not applesauce. and fried into a biscuit with glaze on top.
