DH took the afternoon off from work to drive me. YS drove Gc the other direction 2 hours to see her surgeon.

Sigh. I had to drive 30 minutes the wrong way to pick up DH at the bank. He's been driving my car bc his has been in the shop to get a new alternator ... he called me to say my car would not start! :th I had to go get him. Thankfully that did not make us late for my appt. Sounds like a starter or solenoid or similar. So we'll get his car back tonight, then mine has to go in! :he

YS is driving GC's car today bc he said the AC on his wasn't working. That's what I had to drive today. I prayed about it, hit the AC button, and ice-cold air came blowing out at me, hallelujah! Perhaps he turned it off by accident. :bow

Edit: or maybe I really did get a miracle! 🤷🏽‍♀️

I've broken my pinky on each toe. Once as I was running to tell Richard that his new chair was here..I jammed it into Austin's big monster truck sitting in the kitchen..toy of course. 😁 This was waay back in the day.
The next time was when I jammed it into the stand of my fish tank. Not the tank you all have seen. So you see, it can happen on most anything if you ram it hard enough into an object. I never did buddy tape. Man those hurt!
My first broken toe happened when I jammed the pinky toe on my left foot into the trainer stand we had set up on one of our race bikes. Worked on it for three days. Went to the docs after work and he took one look at my toe and foot and said that he didn't need an xray to tell my little toe was broke and maybe a bone in metatarsus area also.

This is my second fracture. Same foot different toe. It swelled up today. Looks like a cute little sausage and isn't causing me too much grief as I'm not putting weight on in. Managed to forget and use that foot to drag something out from under the coffee table and it lit up like a Christmas tree so I know better than to do that again.

As for buddy taping, I did mine last night before bed and woke up at 1:30 and tore it off. Whoever invented that procedure obviously had never had a broken toe.

On my way back from getting my Prolia shot. It's a tiny shot, not an infusion. One-hour drive to Dexter to get it. Don't know why I can't get it here in the Bluff. 🤷🏽‍♀️
Blue I hope you have better luck than I had with the Prolia. Just keep in mind that little tiny shot is over 1500 dollars a pop. Makes it more painful, lol.

But seriously. listen to your body. If you start having weird symptoms, jot them down. I didn't have too much trouble with the first shot I had. Some fatigue. Seemed like the longer I took them the worse the side effects got..

Thanks, Lady. I have so much fatigue and weird things going on right now I don't know if I would even notice anything new. As for the cost, I'm on Medicare so it's all covered, shouldn't cost me anything... I wake up at 6 am and fall back asleep at 8, sleep till about 10. Take another nap in the afternoon. This may be due to the Gabapentin, I stopped taking it for a while but got back on it a week or 2 ago bc of the arthritis pain in my hands. It's helping with that (some... I think) but I just can't seem to wake up good and get motivated to do anything. Feel like I am crawling through molasses all day long.
