Granny's gone and done it again

Unexpected clouds moved in threatening rain messed up my morning. I didn't get much done but Monday and Tuesday look good right now for wrapping up some projects outside. Just trying to survive until I can get work done on my messed up spine. Once all projects are done I can be offline for a few weeks. We are running water lines into every coop along with electric lines. Water will be automatic soon with heat to prevent icing in the dead of winter. Filling feeders will always be manual.

One more project is to have cameras in every coop so we will not have to visit a coop during severe weather unless something is seen that makes a trip out really needed.

Good idea. What brand/type are you getting?

I don't know yet. I have a neighbor that is using cameras for his entire property. He will be here either tomorrow or Monday. I'm going to talk with him and see what he is using and then dig deeper into systems. The distance from our coops to the area that they are to be monitored from will possibly determine what will work for us. Right now I plead ignorance on this subject.
