LOL that’s hilarious and awesome!!!!!!Speaking of dogs. We just came in from the family room. DH and I lounge on the futon sofa we have in there and usually Ben will jump up and either lay on his back between us or lay with his head in one of our laps. Today, he jumped down to get a 'cookie' I'd given him earlier and the minute he jumped down, Varn jumped up on the sofa. Varn is, well, let's say he's the runt of the 4 cattle dogs. Short legged barrel shaped, he looks like he couldn't move fast but looks are deceptive where he is concerned cause he can move like lightning when he wants to. He's also strong and like a bull in a china shop. When Ben jumped down, Varn jumped up, landed on me, whacked me in the head with one of his feet on his way by. I yelped and when I did, here comes boss dog (in his own mine. Ben is really the alpha dog)Diesel who is hot on Varn's tail for hurting Momma. Varn sees the error of his ways and abandons the futon before growling Diesel can reach him. DH is getting ready to chastise Diesel for growling and I tell him not to be too rough on Diesel because he was coming to Momma's aid and telling Varn that his behavior was unacceptable.
Diesel is known for his trouble making....like trying to drag one of the platform beds out of the utility room into the family room and wedging it in the doorway....So he surprises us when he does something admirable.
And I guess that is why they call them fur children.
