Granny's gone and done it again

Yeah, big fat hairy bummer. I think today I'm suffering from cortisone flare a side effect of getting injected. It causes an increase in pain and stiffness that can last 2 days. Then hopefully the flare will settle down and my shoulder will start to feel better. I hope, God do I hope.

Oof, never heard of hat. You know too much! But I hope so too. Pain.. sucks. I'm sorry.

GC has been complaining about pain for several days. But this evening she went out to a movie with her brother. "Caught Stealing," I think. I told her if she's well enough to go to a movie I figured she could clean her own commode. Am I awful, lol?

Y'all, I want you all to know that I'm doing well. I still have a way to go as far as getting stronger and building stamina, but I have practically no pain any more. It's been six long hard months, but I wasn't sure I would ever get here!

Probably not, I didn't just have surgery. Buuutt... she's 24 and I'm 72, lol.

She needs to grow up. You won’t always be there to clean her bathroom.

I figure if she's well enough to go to a movie she probably doesn't need the bedside commode any more. The bathroom is right next to her bedroom! So I'm thinking if she has to start cleaning the commode herself, she'll probably decide it's easier to just ... go to the bathroom.

I didn't mind doing it when she really hurt too badly to get up and walk but ... a movie? Yeah, no.
