Granny's gone and done it again

Oof, never heard of hat. You know too much! But I hope so too. :hugs Pain.. sucks. I'm sorry.

GC has been complaining about pain for several days. But this evening she went out to a movie with her brother. "Caught Stealing," I think. I told her if she's well enough to go to a movie I figured she could clean her own commode. Am I awful, lol?
Awful? Nah, observant. I'd have said the same thing to GC. If good enough to go out, good enough to clean up after yourself.

As for knowledge, dear friend, God willing we never stop learning. Two years ago I had to have my left shoulder injected. Learned about cortisone flare with that. Doc said warned me about it so I was able to go out and buy a cheepo sling and kept my arm in it for 48 hours. I didn't do that this time. Just not doing any repetitious movements with it or heavy lifting. I'm icing it down at night which is about the only time I have to stay still long enough to do that. My cold water circulating pump is one of the best things that came from the surgery. It works like a charm and is comfortable to use.

I called my ortho this morning and asked them just what am I allowed to do with PT because the weight lifting is kicking my butt and the reps is causing the bursitis. They are going to ask the NP and get back to me, contact the Therapist.

I'm in the same boat you are in. If it's weight bearing I need I can do that at home just working around here.

Same here. 72 degrees right now. Just got back from dragging Rocki to the vet for her rabies shot. Poor dear is always so traumatized and that's with a dose of Trazadone in her. She just finds a bench and hides under it and the vets are great, very low stress office. But it was nice not having to drive the interstate with sweat running in your eyes.

@Granny Hatchet hope you are feeling better this afternoon.

I managed to make some breakfast gravy today. Tried to help Keven clean the fish tank but I was mostly full of advise not muscle. Muscle in my arm is useless today from Bandit yesterday.

Tom has a pretty fast drip where the Foley enters the body of blood. Did this yesterday too No idea why..
How fast? Has he by chance snagged the catheter and jerked it? Is the urine clear straw colored or is it cloudy and or bloody looking? A fast drip is cause for investigation and if it doesn't stop/call to DR. or ER.

IDK how to show you how fast. Urine looks fine. Nurse was here yesterday and mentioned the same thing about it being jerked maybe
