Not the wrist, no. Hold it over the palm of your hand. You can let go if you have to.

Yeah true but I’ve read they can get it caught on the crate wires too so I’m paranoid LOL

They can esp if you have tags on them. I have grated in the bottom of my crates. The tags fall through then when they come out the tag usually gets pulled off
I can’t have collars on my dogs

They are all microchipped so I can’t not claim them.

He has a tray and bed in his so hopefully it’s be okay? Unless he snagged it on the top. But his collar is fairly tight anyway. And he is technically microchipped but I think I his might have fallen out and I forgot to ask the vet about it when I was there LOL
