Granny's gone and done it again

One interesting thing about Ruby-throated Hummingbirds is their long-distance migration—up to 2,000 miles to their winter grounds in Mexico, Central America, and Panama. They are remarkable because they fly nonstop across the Gulf of Mexico for 18 hours during migration.

He got up at 8pm. Thinks he is up for the day.
I'm not sure just how much he understands, but Austin and Bronwyn bought a neat looking lamp that changed colors. It was a certain color at night and a different color at the time they set for morning. Their little guy had been getting up at 5 in the morning! They told him that he wasn't to get up until that turned the color for morning. Worked well for a 5 year old. 🤷‍♀️

That sounds pretty nice. I will look for it. Thanks!
Are you doing any better?

I had at least ten here yesterday and the day before. Hardly feeding at all, mostly just chasing each other off, the silly goobs! I let the sugar water run out. They need to be migrating. Idk. Maybe I should keep it filled. Not sure there's much out there to sustain them.
I changed mine today. I clean it well every time. They say to keep putting them up through September. There will still be some migrating from the north.
I wondered if I still had some coming or if the wind was emptying it. Well, tonight, as I was walking around the back with Lacy for potty time, I hear the familiar sound of wings. I look up, there is one about a foot in front of my face. This is the third time this has happened. First time, front porch. I was wondering if I should place a feeder out front..I had, but had taken it down because I hadn't seen any. Well, that little guy was easy to see. lol. Then the second time I was putting the feeder up after cleaning and changing. Always, just about a foot away, or closer. :) Love it. Tonight he/she stayed a bit. I didn't have bright colors on. Navy blue..moo moo. 😁
