The more you “think” about being stupid the more you will become what you think of. It’s not superstitious, it’s real life.Because I figure if I wasn’t stupid, I wouldn’t keep doing stupid/problematic behaviors/things over and over and over again. But I guess you’re right and that still doesn’t mean I am stupid LOL I need to work on that.![]()
See? Give yourself some credit. Maybe make yourself a progress chart of some kind so when you get discouraged you can see that you're actually doing pretty good compared to previous year. Seeing progress will encourage you to keep up the good work.Right now I’m having some slight setbacks and have taken a few steps BACKWARDS BUT! I’m still much better off than I WAS before LOL and I’ve been out basically a year already this month
Thanks!!!!! I guess I could try it lolThe more you “think” about being stupid the more you will become what you think of. It’s not superstitious, it’s real life.
In Psalms 139:15 it says: I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. ESV
When you call yourself stupid you are in essence saying that your creator made a stupid person.
Try saying, I am fearfully and wonderfully made, made in the image of God, to fulfill his wonderful plan for my life. Do this consistently even if you feel otherwise, your life will gradually change.![]()
Thanks!!!!! I’ll try that.See? Give yourself some credit. Maybe make yourself a progress chart of some kind so when you get discouraged you can see that you're actually doing pretty good compared to previous year. Seeing progress will encourage you to keep up the good work.
Absolutely! I do it regularly and it has transformed my opinion of myself! Thanks!!!!! I guess I could try it lol
I like that lol thanksInstead of saying I AM ... stupid, maybe say: I DID... something stupid ... but I know I can do better ... with God's help!
