Sorry I didn't get on line earlier. I was up and about for a while this morning but went back to sleep. Am awake now though.


Whoa, that's more than a LITTLE rain, Granny! We've been rain-free for over a month here. Had way too much earlier this spring. Wish it would make up its mind, seems like we have flood then drought.


Gracie had whole big wads of them, had surgery for them. The last one the dr did was on her chest and was way more involved then the dr expected, deep into her muscle and going way back. He didn't get it all bc she had already been under anesthesia so long while he got the others but it didn't affect her I don't think. I never knew lypomas could be so extensive.

Yes, I had a dog years ago too that had a lot. The one that got him was right by his little peters..on top of the blader area too.

Blue, that was 8 yrs ago.

They just go laytex free with Richard. He was fine in the beginning, but he had soooo many surgeries it became a problem not long into his young years.

The kids had stuff to do in town. I'm waiting for them to bring me a Whopper Jr. With cheese, no onion. I'm really hungry!

Doing good today. Makes me happy to have good days. Imagine that.

I found a person right next door that can come clean for me! I need my big living area and kitchen area mopped. Plus my 2 bathrooms up here. Bronwyn does kitchen dishes most of the time. I'll do them on some days.

Oh, lucky you! I was just telling Melissa I need a housekeeper. Mine stopped coming, sad face! If I had Medicaid that would pay for one for me, but Medicare doesn't offer that service. Elijah's my kitchen magician and he does a good job but ... I need someone to sweep or vacuum the animal hair. I vacuumed the kitchen area one day last week but it wiped me out and I still haven't been able to do the rest of the main part of the house ... dining, living room, hall. I just hate it that I can't keep up with the household chores.

Oh, lucky you! I was just telling Melissa I need a housekeeper. Mine stopped coming, sad face! If I had Medicaid that would pay for one for me, but Medicare doesn't offer that service. Elijah's my kitchen magician and he does a good job but ... I need someone to sweep or vacuum the animal hair. Me too. I never minded doing house chores. Bending over is a huge no no for me now with my Vestibular problems. I feel the dizzy coming then I'm bad for days again. I'm very careful not to bend over long or to tilt my head up and back. Spider webs up there? What spider webs?

Our Buck has two huge lipomas on his right side. They have been there since he was about 4. These are flat and cover most of his rib cage. Our vet checks them every time we go in and told us to get in touch with them should they ever change. So far they haven't. His sissy has one on her neck and neither dog seems to be disturbed by them. Buck runs like an antelope and Spot is the Energizer Bunny dog in spite of having bad arthritis in her hips. They are from the same litter we think. Siblings with a common mother and different fathers. They showed up at our gate when they were just barely 8 weeks old. Covered with cow crap and mud and have been our two dearest fur babies for 12 years now.

I had a miniature Schnauzer who had hair loss. He also had a big sebaceous cyst on his rump that opened on its own. Nasty thing. Sometime I think some dogs are just prone to such things.

Beautiful day here. 79 degrees and dry. We need rain.

Speaking of house cleaners. My husband once said he'd hire a housekeeper for me. Amish girls are always looking for that kind of work but he knows me. I'd just clean the house before she showed up....to clean the house.

For me, it's my knees. I can't bend them without risking falling on the spot, and even if I don't fall, experiencing debilitating pain for days afterward. And I KNOW I don't want to fall! I don't feel dizzy, I just feel ... unbalanced. Knees so weak. Neither one can hold me up any more.
