Granny's gone and done it again

I believe the 5 chicks I bought as Cinnamon Queens are turning into some sort of frizzle or frazzle buff bantams. The two frazzles look like little bad boys and the other three should be pullets. Time will tell. The two boys have well developing combs and one is trying to mount anything he can get near. The two boys got removed from the brooder today to an outdoor coop where they can't cause trouble. Now the 3 pullets are living in peace with 4 ISA Brown pullets that are little lover girls. They mob anyone who comes near the brooder. They were raised several weeks by a bantam hen. They were still managing to get under her on the high up roost. Expecting both batches of Legbars that we hatched to start laying by early October if not late September. Mosquitos got bad here and that resulted in us having to do battle now with fowl pox in a few birds that we isolated in kennel cages.

are you going to put her down?
I hope your shoulder heals soon. Its been a while.
Yes, she was culled 8 or 9 years ago. I really liked her. She didn't take any crap off of the other hens and was just fun to watch, especially when she put the young roosters in their place.

As for the shoulder, me too and thank you. I think the surgery is doing well it's the inflammation that's holding it back and well, I have two choices. Either give into it or push through it. I choose the latter.
